About Mondial Forwarding

Mondial Forwarding was founded in 1991 by Joaquin A. Armengol, Sr. and Jose M. Armengol, who brought with them years of expertise in the International Freight Forwarding field. Mondial was established with the goal of providing its clients the highest level of service available in the freight forwarding industry.

Soon after opening their Miami, Florida offices and warehouse facilities, they were joined by Joaquin A. Armengol, Jr. who brought with him a wealth of management experience from his years at Digital Equipment Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia.

Over the years Mondial has expanded its services to better serve its clients. Sea-Xpress Line, Inc. an NVOCC ocean line was established in 1995 by the directors of Mondial to provide the best possible ocean freight rates. Mondial is also partnered with CSI International, providers of shipping services for export of vehicles worldwide. CSI’s Miami offices are located within the Mondial facilities, and Mondial provides exclusive vehicle loading and containerization services. Also headquartered within the Mondial facilities is Baron USA, a leading exporter of marine supplies to Latin America.
